Future TripsFriday, July 25th at 10:00amTheodore Roosevelt Sanctuary and Audubon CenterLIHS is invited to the Theodore Roosevelt Sanctuary and Audubon Center at 134 Cove Road in Oyster Bay (across the street from Sagamore Hill). We will meet the Executive Director, Aaron Virgil, who will give us a tour of the Center and talk of its connection to the environmental interests of Roosevelt. They will also discuss efforts to remove invasives, and their plans to move the Center closer to providing the appropriate environment for birds and other wildlife. We will meet in the parking lot on Cove Road and request that members carpool, as parking in the lot is limited. The trip is limited to 40 members but space may still be available.
